Hôtel La Pérouse

Fabulous location. Rooms somewhat awkward to access. Rooms were cleaned but no change of glassware on any day. Towels not refreshed. Staffs level of courtesy was mixed

Très mauvaise expérience au rooftop de La Pérouse. Nous sommes venus en famille simplement pour boire un verre et avons commandé plusieurs cocktails et boissons. Pourtant, 15 minutes avant la fermeture annoncée à 23h, on nous a clairement fait comprendre qu’il fallait partir : nos verres ont été débarrassés sans même nous demander si nous avions terminé, puis la lampe de notre table a été éteinte alors que nous étions encore installés. Nous nous sommes retrouvés littéralement dans le noir, avec une impression très désagréable d’être mis dehors. Je peux comprendre qu’un établissement commence à fermer avant l’heure, mais la façon de faire est vraiment irrespectueuse, surtout après avoir commandé plusieurs consommations. Un minimum de courtoisie aurait été de nous prévenir et de nous laisser terminer tranquillement. Très déçus par l’accueil et le service. Une expérience qui ne donne absolument pas envie de revenir.

Dieses Hotel hätte definitiv noch einen weiteren Stern verdient. Vom Empfang bis zum Check out war alles top. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich , die Koffer wurden ins Zimmer gebracht sowie wurde unser Fahrzeug geparkt und auch gebracht sobald wir es benötigten. Zusätzlich gab es auch eine Flasche Champagner und Früchte als Geschenk. Die Lage ist auch perfekt, da direkt in 10 Meter Entfernung sich schon der Strand befindet. Allem zusammen ein wirklich hervorragendes Hotel vielen Dank für den angenehmen Aufenthalt.

Wir waren mit unserer Familie spontan zwei Tage in dem Hotel. Es war einfach Traumhaft, wir haben uns in das Hotel verliebt. Die Lage ist super, alle sehr freundlich und die Aussicht ist ein Traum. Leider hat es am Pool etwas wenig Liegen da viele vor dem Frühstück einen Liegestuhl reservieren so das man nach dem Frühstück keinen Platz mehr findet. Wir kommen wieder auf jeden fall. We loved our stay at La Perouse. The hotel is perfectly located near both the promenade and the Old Town. The restaurant is gorgeous and was a tranquil setting for breakfast or a meal throughout the day. We also enjoyed our time at the small but lovely pool. Most importantly, the staff were extremely kind and accommodating, helping us with restaurant recommendations and advice. I would definitely stay here again.

I would not recommend this hotel. The hotel feels very outdated, with confusing entrances, elevators, and hallways that make it difficult to navigate. The rooms and interiors are old and worn, and the property does not feel like a 4-star hotel. Considering the high room rates, the value for money is simply not there. The price is significantly higher than what the overall experience justifies. Another disappointing aspect is that the hotel seems to charge extra for almost every additional service, while many of these amenities have become standard and are included at similarly priced hotels. Overall, the atmosphere felt impersonal and overly focused on generating additional revenue rather than providing a level of hospitality that matches the price. Unfortunately, this hotel does not offer the quality or experience that its rates suggest.

Gorgeous hotel, loved the ambience and the service was so incredibly helpful. Would definitely come back and recommend to others! Only note would be to please get new pool chairs!

Location is perfect… on the sea near the old town. The concierge was amazing. Incredibly helpful and friendly. Really went above and beyond with restaurant reservations, directions and transportation. However, the service at breakfast and at the roof top bar was very poor. You needed to get up and find a waiter to order coffee or get a drink. We didn’t go to the roof top bar our last night because we knew it would be difficult to order drinks and there are almost no customers.

The worst service I have ever received in a hotel. Rude stuff that commenting on your attire, but the Highlight of our 10 days stay was that we discovered on the 8th night that the air conditioning in all of our floor broke down and would not work for the rest of our stay, for some reason the hotel staff and manager did not think it is something they should tell their guests about- especially when those guests paid 7,500 euros to stay at a hotel that has air conditioning. Would not recommend.

Great location ... attentive staff ... Breakfast Buffet great but not Fantastic ... slow service during busy times. Overall a hotel with a lovely dining area, pool and fantastic view!!!

This hotel is located in a perfect area! Easy to walk to lots of areas while vacationing. Is directly across the street from the beach. The room was very nice. The service was great. The front desk especially Laurent was very helpful! The patio, room service, restaurant was all exceptional. The staff were very nice. The fresh flowers around the hotel did not go unnoticed! They were such a beautiful touch! And the birds singing outside everyday was such a lovely unexpected treat. At first we thought it was a recording of birds but realized the sounds came from the birds near the hotel. They were not disturbing…just a beautiful sound when walking out on the patio. We enjoyed our stay very much & would definitely recommend this hotel.

Lovely stay. The views of the sea were stunning. Air conditioning was great, room was spotless, patio was worth the splurge. Dinner in the Patio was memorable. Service was excellent and food was elegant, but not too "foo foo" and filling. We had the Onion tart. Loup and Veal. The Rose' Callis was perfect. Breakfast was wonderful and Fabian and the young man were the bright spot of everyday. Another very impressive employee was Charlotte at the front desk. Her smile and friendly advice was appreciated. The Perouse is the perfect high-end property without being pretentious. Five!

I can’t say enough great things about Hotel La Perouse! It was the perfect hotel to experience everything Nice has to offer!

Great location, right next to old town and the market. Beach is across the street. Cafe is beautiful and the rooftop bar is amazing. Check in staff was a bit condescending, but may be normal here in France. Everyone else we have come in contact with here has been great!

We spent our 30th wedding anniversary in Nice for a week. We liked the location, the service, the food, the view from our room. All top level.
